As a Support Worker, you'll work alongside people with disability, empowering them to achieve their goals, build independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences both at home and in the community. About the Role You'll support participants with a variety of daily activities, including: Assisting with daily living tasks and personal care (where required) Supporting participants in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes Encouraging independence and developing everyday life skills Providing community access and supporting social, recreational, and lifestyle activities Administering medication (where trained) Maintaining accurate documentation and participant records Building positive, respectful relationships with participants, families, and colleagues Shifts Our services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you'll need to be available for a variety of shifts, including: Morning, afternoon and active overnight/sleepover shifts Weekends and public holidays We're Looking For Someone Who Is Passionate about supporting people and making a positive impact Kind, patient, and respectful A strong communicator with a positive attitude Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team Flexible with availability across a rotating roster Why Join Parcare? - Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete)
