Parkways team chat is a single system. Desktop Messages, the Core app Inbox and the worker app Messages all read and write the same channels, so a message sent anywhere reaches everyone.
Using it
- 1Open Messages on desktop, or Inbox in the Core app, for your channels.
- 2Start a new channel for a team, a house or a topic. Admins can see every channel in the organisation.
- 3Unread counts show where you need to catch up.
Not the same as portal messages
Team chat is internal. Messages with families and support coordinators are separate private threads, run from the Family and SC portal pages. See Running the portals.
