In SIL houses and group supports, one or more workers cover several participants at a ratio. Parkways models this as a ratio shift with a primary resident and the other residents attached.
Where to build them
- 1Use the Ratio Shift view in the roster, reached from the Roster group under Ratio shifts.
- 2Set the primary participant and add the other residents on the shift.
- 3In the Core app, the SIL tab lists every active house with its residents and today's shifts, and taps route into cover.
Why the ratio matters
Billing runs on the actual support ratio, the real concurrency on the day, not the house headcount. Each resident carries their own note, kilometres and support events, so everyone has a complete record.
Record against each resident, not just the primary. If support is logged only against the primary, the other residents vanish from their own timelines and their supports do not bill.
